Terms of Service

Effective date: March 1, 2026

Accuracy Disclaimer

Banksheet’s AI extraction is highly accurate but not guaranteed to be error-free. Banksheet is not liable for any financial decisions, tax filings, or accounting records made based on extracted data. Users are responsible for reviewing all output before use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Banksheet (“Service”) operated by Banksheet.io (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Service Description

Banksheet is an AI-powered financial document conversion service. The Service enables users to upload bank statements and financial documents in PDF, JPG, or PNG format, and receive structured transaction data in spreadsheet-compatible formats such as CSV.

The conversion engine uses Google’s Gemini AI vision technology to identify and extract transaction data. Extraction accuracy varies by document format, print quality, and language, and is not guaranteed to be 100% correct in all cases.

3. Credit System and Payment

3.1 How Credits Work

The Service operates on a pay-per-page credit system. 1 credit = 1 page of a document. Each page processed during a conversion deducts one credit from your account balance. Credits are purchased in advance through our checkout flow powered by Stripe.

3.2 Refund Policy

Credits are non-refundable once used. A credit is considered “used” when the conversion process begins for that page, regardless of whether the extraction result is subsequently downloaded. If you believe credits were deducted in error due to a technical fault on our part, please contact support@banksheet.io within 7 days and we will investigate.

3.3 Credit Expiry

Paid credits do not expire. Free weekly demo credits refresh to a maximum of 2 every Monday (UTC+0) and do not stack above this cap.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You only upload documents that you own or for which you have the explicit legal right to process.
  • You do not upload documents belonging to third parties on their behalf without their explicit, informed consent.
  • You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use the Service.
  • You will verify all extracted data before using it in any financial, legal, or accounting context.
  • You will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

5. Prohibited Uses

The following uses of the Service are strictly prohibited:

  • Using the Service to facilitate, enable, or conceal money laundering, financial fraud, or other financial crimes.
  • Processing financial documents belonging to individuals or entities without their explicit authorization.
  • Uploading forged, fabricated, or tampered financial documents.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service through automated scripts or bots.
  • Any use that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Banksheet makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the extracted data.

Banksheet is not liable for any loss or damage arising from:

  • Financial decisions made on the basis of AI-extracted data.
  • Errors or omissions in tax filings or accounting records prepared using Service output.
  • Service interruptions or delays.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Banksheet’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Banksheet in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and all content produced by Banksheet, is the intellectual property of Banksheet.io. You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the transaction data extracted from your documents.

By uploading documents, you grant Banksheet a limited, non-exclusive, temporary licence to process the document content solely for the purpose of providing the extraction service to you.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all associated data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Banksheet reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account, with or without notice, if we determine that the account has violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited activities, or poses a risk to the security or integrity of the Service or other users. Any unused credits remaining in a terminated account will be forfeited.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Banksheet.io is a company based in Singapore.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of Singapore. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts for this purpose.

10. Amendments to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify registered users via email. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
